Welcoming a new Puppy or Dog into your house

Sitting in a cage for long hours is no way to start a puppies life or make a new dog feel safe and loved. Be prepared to have a dog, take off work for at least a week and hire a force free or positive based trainer if you need help.

 A sensory deprived dog is an outsider. The more sensory info the dog receives the more developed her mind will become. Combine good food with feeling safe and that's a good beginning. Nerve cells in the brain grow and make new synaptic connections to other nerve cells when stimulated. If a pup does not have a stimulating environment she might not be accepting of new sights, sounds and experiences. This...
