HELPFUL TIPS AND LINKS / Canine Assisted Therapy

Unconditional Love. That is the main attribute of all Canine Assisted Therapy (C.A.T.) Dogs.

Canine Assisted Therapy, (C.A.T.), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in August of 2009 to address the need of companionship for those in nursing homes, hospice, assisted living, and hospitals. Researchers are finding that pets truly have the power to heal their owners, especially the elderly.

The most serious disease for older people is not cancer or heart disease, but loneliness!
