Certify Your Dog as a Therapy Dog!

The American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen Class is designed to take your dog to  therapy dog certification. You and your dog want to work in school's, hospital's  or senior settings bringing smiles, love and light, to one that is sick or needs a smile? Do you just want your dog to serve as your companion and have good manners as you journey thru the world?  This class is a must for anyone wanting certification for therapy work. Service dog work and information also provided.This  6 week class prepares you and your dog to pass the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. Every dog in this class must know basic commands and have no aggression problems.

We will work together on the rest! Lessons include walking on a loose leash, turning, waiting, passing another dog politely, ignoring distractions, separating from the master, and walking through crowds. There are 10 basic test items that we will practice weekly.

These classes are fun! Your dog will receive Certification by the Nationally Renowned AKC Canine Good Citizen program and be certified as a Therapy Dog.
